Who’s who

Director

The Blood Project was conceived of and created by William C. Aird, MD, Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Aird is a hematologist and clinician-scientist who believes that medicine and medical education are increasingly lacking in conceptual frameworks, and who values creative, interdisciplinary approaches to fill this need. Working closely with his Advisory board, Dr. Aird has developed a teaching platform that will hopefully inspire, enlighten and motivate users.
