Varun Lyengar

Varun Lyengar is a second-year resident at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, with interests both in benign and malignant hematology. Prior to clinical medicine, he wrote for a healthcare advocacy firm in San Francisco called Close Concerns, which synthesizes news and insights on therapies and technologies related to diabetes and obesity. He received his M.D. from Brown University in Providence, RI, where his interest in blood and blood-related physiology was born.
