Kristie White

Kristie L. White, MD, MAEd is an Associate Professor and hematopathologist at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She is the Medical Director of the Clinical Laboratory at the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. In addition to her clinical roles, Kristie has a longstanding interest and involvement in medical education (MedEd). She earned her MA in Education from UC Berkeley in 2013. Her work in medical education includes serving as the Residency Program Director for the Clinical Pathology at UCSF. She has also served as the Co-Director for the Health Professions Education Pathway at UCSF and she has worked as an education consultant for Elsevier. Kristie is interested in several aspects of MedEd, including introducing new technologies into MedEd and in the development of assessment methods and curricula for medical student and pathology resident education.
