Reticulocytes
A reticulocyte stain of peripheral blood. Reticulocytes are identified as those cells with clumped granular material called reticulum formed by aggregation of residual ribosomes and mitochondria. Reticulocytes appear as polychromatophilic cells seen on a Wright- or Wright-Giemsa-stained blood film.
