Name that CBC

What is the story?

Answer: hereditary spherocytosis (HS) in a patient who developed reactive thrombocytosis after undergoing splenectomy.

Note the normal MCHC at time 0. While it is true that HS is often associated with an elevated MCHC, that is not always the case.
