The following describes this patient’s physical exam when you see her:

General appearance: Visibly distressed from pain

Vital signs: Heart rate 82/min, blood pressure 120/60, respiratory rate 18/min, T 98.9oF

Head and neck: No lymphadenopathy

CVS: S1, S2, no extra sounds, no murmurs

Chest: Normal to inspection, percussion, and auscultation

Abdomen: Soft, non-tender, no hepatosplenomegaly

Extremities: No tenderness over painful sites

CNS: No focal changes
